The Police Command in Yobe State has raised concerns about the potential infiltration of the upcoming nationwide protests by Boko Haram insurgents.
According to a statement from DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, the Command has received intelligence indicating that foreign mercenaries might be involved in the protests with the intention of causing harm and damaging property.
Abdulkarim emphasized the need for caution among individuals planning to participate in the protests, urging them to be vigilant given the threat posed by these insurgents.
