Victor Osimhen Poised for PSG Transfer; Trabzonspor Advances on Paul Onuachu Deal, Seeks Additional Forward

Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian international striker, is anticipated to finalize his transfer from Napoli to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) by Thursday, according to Italian media outlet Corriere dello Sport. Reports suggest that PSG is on the verge of concluding the deal, with Napoli potentially offering a minor reduction on Osimhen’s €130 million release clause.

Football Italia has reported that PSG is concentrating its efforts on securing the 25-year-old striker and has been actively negotiating with Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, and Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, in recent days. The transfer discussions are progressing positively, indicating that the deal is nearing completion.

In addition, Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan has provided updates on the transfer situation of Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu. Onuachu, who has resumed training with Southampton after a break, is a target for Trabzonspor.

Doğan mentioned that negotiations with Southampton are advancing, with the Turkish club and Southampton slowly adjusting their offers. Trabzonspor aims to finalize Onuachu’s transfer within the next week.

Doğan also revealed that Trabzonspor is looking to acquire another top-class centre-forward alongside Onuachu.

The club is in discussions for a forward with a similar profile to Onuachu, and they hope to add both players to their squad. However, they must navigate foreign player quotas to complete these potential signings.
