BREAKING: EFCC Set to Arraign Former Aviation Minister Sirika and His Daughter to Court

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is preparing to bring former Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Senator Hadi Sirika, along with his daughter Fatimah and two others, to court on Thursday, May 9, 2024.

They face allegations of corruption related to a N2.7 billion contract fraud discovered within the Aviation Ministry during Sirika’s tenure.

This marks the first trial appearance for the embattled former Minister, who is scheduled to appear before Justice Sylvanus Oriji of the Federal High Court in Abuja, alongside his co-accused.

Charges include accusations of using their positions to launder the aforementioned sum.
