Bandits attack Kaduna village, Lead Residents into the Forest.

Bandits have raided the Angwar Danko hamlet in Kakangi Constituency, Birnin Gwari Local Government Area, Kaduna State, and forced abductees into the jungle.

This publication learned that a big number of bandits stormed the neighborhood about 6 p.m. on Wednesday, shooting rounds indiscriminately.

Witnesses report that men and women who were seized by the assailants are presently being marched into the jungle.

Yahaya Musa Dan Salio, Kakangi Ward’s representative in the State House of Assembly, verified the occurrence.

He claimed that he had yet to get complete information on the number of people taken, but verified that it was in the dozens.

“I just received a call from the area informing me that dozens of my constituents have been abducted. The bandits have surrounded the village, and as we speak, they are still there, taking their victims into the forest. The situation is dire,” he said.

Dan Salio voiced alarm, pointing out that the majority of the victims were males and implying that there may be deaths.

He stressed the critical necessity for authorities to install additional security checkpoints in the region to limit the movement of bandits.

When reached, ASP Mansur Hassan, the Public Relations Officer for the State Police Command, claimed that he will contact the area for further information before making any more remarks.
