The National Examinations Council has announced a shift in the schedule for the 2024 National Common Entrance Examination into Federal Unity Colleges and the entrance exam into the Federal Government Academy, Suleja.
According to a statement from Azeez Sani, the acting Director of Information and Digital Communication of the council, released in Abuja on Tuesday, the common entrance exam initially planned for April 20, 2024, will now be held on June 1, 2024. Similarly, the entrance exam for Gifted and Talented Children into the Federal Government Academy, Suleja, originally slated for May 4, 2024, has been moved to May 25, 2024.
The decision to reschedule both exams was prompted by the insufficient number of candidates registering for the tests. All relevant parties, including candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and stakeholders, are urged to take note of the updated examination dates.
The statement emphasized, “The rescheduling of the two examinations was due to low enrollment of candidates. All candidates, parents, guardians, schools, and relevant stakeholders are therefore enjoined to take note of the new dates for the examinations”.
