On Sunday, the Cross River Police Command confirmed the abduction of three University of Calabar students.
SP Irene Ugbo, the command spokesperson, confirmed that the students were taken on Thursday night at a campus hostel.
Ugbo, who did not describe the kidnapping, said the police were working with other authorities to retrieve the pupils.
A source who requested anonymity identified the students as Ojang Precious Ebejin, a 200-level Medicine and Surgery student, Ugwu Chukwuemeka, a 300-level Genetics and Biotechnology student, and Damilola Dickson, a final-year student. Text without headline: NAN
