Kidnapped Kaduna School Student: Sani Abdullahi, a teacher who escaped captivity has narrated how the bandits invaded the schools.

The teacher narrated the occasion when Governor Sani Uba of Kaduna State brought government officials to the school.

An earlier report had said that the pupils were taken from the LEA Primary School, the teacher said the gunmen also assaulted the Government Secondary School (GSS) both in Kuriga in the in the Chikun Local Government Area of the state.

Abdullahi said when the bandits attacked the schools, they ordered roughly 700 pupils and their instructors to march into the jungle.

He stated he was fortunate to escape among other victims when they fled into the bush.

According to the teacher, 187 students in the secondary school are currently missing, while 100 are missing in the primary school.

While speaking to the community, Governor Uba said he had informed Malam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Security Adviser (NSA), assuring them that the students would return home unhurt.

He said he would do whatever it takes to make sure the victims return safely, even if he needs to stay in the community.
