Innocent Idibia, also known as 2baba or 2face, has split company with his 20-year manager, Efe Omorogbe.
The announcement was announced on Instagram by Efe Omorogbe and Now Muzik. Mutual disagreement begins immediately, according to the statement.
Efe thanked Tuface for his trust and friendship. He was proud of their brand, music, and supporters. He called Tuface one of the best Nigerian artists and said it was a pleasure to walk beside him.
“I am grateful to 2baba for the trust, and for the friendship. I am proud of the brands we built together, the music we made, and the fans we entertained. 2baba is one of the greatest Nigerian musicians of all time and it really is an honor to have had the opportunity to walk side by side with him, watching and helping him make magic over the past two decades. My team and I look forward to now supporting from the sidelines, and continuing to advocate for any and everything 2baba”.
The iconic singer said all good things must end. He credits much of his professional success to Efe and his crew for their encouragement.
Hypertek Digital will handle Tuface after his departure.
“I know it’s a cliche but every good thing must come to an end. I owe a lot of my career success to Efe and his team at Now Muzik. Everything I’ve been able to achieve is a result of the support of many people and organizations working with me to bring my talent and vision to life. Now Muzik is one of such companies and I couldn’t be more grateful to them”.
Tuface signed with Now Muzik management upon exiting The Plantashun Boiz in 2004 and pitching tent with Kennis Music as a recording label. Since then, he has recorded and released 8 albums, performed in over 100 cities, won over 60 awards; and scored over 400 million streams across all platforms. He remains the most iconic pop star of his generation and now working to execute a new phase of his dramatic career. He is henceforth represented by Hypertek Digital; his own imprint.
While commemorating his late buddy and colleague, Sound Sultan, Tuface declared himself a fresh kitty and budding talent.
Tuface penned a memo to him as he detailed life-changing experiences in the business to him. The renowned singer reminded him that their ambition and hope for Nigerian and African music has come to pass and now he is a rising musician, but he wouldn’t give up lightly for the young kitties.
He said that there were tons of tales to tell him as they approached the New Year.
Last year, Tuface stated his ambition to build a church.
Taking to his Instagram page, the iconic musician revealed his ambition to create a church, which he would name Straight To Heaven International Church of God Nigeria Limited (STHICOGNL).
Taking to his comment area, several of his followers remarked how the singer would impregnate many of his female church members.
