The Iyaloja General of Lagos State and Daughter of President Bola Tinubu, Alhaja Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, has urged on Nigerians to be patient amid the economic suffering in the nation.
She advised the people to keep optimism alive, saying the economic crisis is a worldwide phenomena which is not restricted to Nigeria. Tinubu-Ojo talked with newsmen during the 2024 Mawlid Nabiyy of the Lagos State branch of Aljamahatul Qadiriyyah Islamic Movement.
The ceremony also featured prayers for the nation with various passages of the Glorious Qur’an recited to seek direction for Nigerian leaders and the best for the country.
The Iyaloja General who was turbaned Iya Adinni of Qadiriyyah in Nigeria and Africa, for her efforts towards the advancement of Islam has told Nigerians that her father was striving to solve the suffering in the nation.
“My message to all Nigerians is to please exercise a little more patience. Everything will be alright; it’s just a matter of time. We need to keep our hope alive. There is an economic downturn all over the world, and not in Nigeria alone. But we pray Allah will see us through.”
